Is it just me? I've participated in MANY Alpha/Beta/PR/GM cycles with a number of vendors over the year's. I recent job shift made the Notes 6 client my first with IBM (since old 360 Mainframe days).
Whence all was said and done, I'd reported (and seen fixed) several bugs and had quite a few useful discussions. Then - NOTHING! Not so much as a Thankyou email.
Why do I care? Well, my company is having problems with the 6 client on their 5 servers, hence haven't done anything about licencing the 6 client. Worse, I'm a (home) Mac user. The GM client is (I believe) time bombed. Shortly, I will lose home accerss to Notes. I'm not likely to front my own bucks to by the 6 Mac client, the company isn't interested...
<Whine> I want my freebie! <\Whine>
Virtually ever other company for whom I've invested hours testing has given me a final copy. Am I missing something that IBM didn't?
And maybe I DON'T care - darned if I can find any infoon aquiring the Mac client off the N**2 web sites...
